Dermal fillers use a cross-linked hyaluronic acid injected via a syringe, needle, or cannula below the skin's surface to temporarily correct volume loss, improve the appearance of lines/wrinkles.
This treatment can help address volume loss, skin laxity, facial imbalance, scar revision, and fine lines and wrinkles.
Pain level: 2-4/10 Pain level varies from person to person for dermal filler treatments. Some areas, like lips, will have topical numbing cream applied beforehand.
Session duration can vary depending on the number of areas you are having treated, but can usually span 15-60 mins.
Immediately after treatment you can expect the area to feel slightly swollen and tender. Apply an ice pack to help treat swelling and minimize discomfort. Ensure that you maintain an upright position for at least 4 hours. Do not rub or scratch the area for at least 4 hours. Do not engage in strenuous activity for the rest of the day. Bruising is possible for some patients.

Consultation
In your consultation, you will meet with one of our Nurse Injectors to assess how to best treat your concerns. They will outline what treatment will look like for you and what you can expect from the results.
Treatment
Do not lay flat for at least 4 hours. Do not engage in rigourous activity for the rest of the day. Do not rub or manipulate the area for at least 4 hours.
Post Treatment
Two weeks after your injection appointment you'll return for a follow up to ensure that we're achieved the desired results. After this two-week period swelling should be completely disapated and you'll be able to see the final appearance of the treatment.
Follow up
Depending on what area you are having injected, you may numb prior to treatment. You'll leave with an ice-pack for the injector site.
Maintenance
Dermal fillers typicall last from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the inidividual and the area being treated. As time goes on you may want to replinish metabolized product or achieve a different look. Book back with us to take the next step in your journey.
