FotoFinder is an advanced digital skin imaging and mole mapping system designed to support early detection and monitoring of skin changes with remarkable precision.
FotoFinder plays a key role in ongoing skin health management by enabling detailed documentation and consistent tracking over time. Through full-body imaging, it allows for accurate comparisons between visits, helping to quickly identify any new or evolving areas of concern. This service is completely non-invasive, requires no downtime, and can be seamlessly incorporated into routine skin checks.
FotoFinder is ideal for individuals with multiple moles, atypical or changing lesions, or a personal or family history of skin cancer. It is also a valuable option for anyone looking to take a proactive approach to their skin health through regular monitoring and early detection.
A FotoFinder appointment typically takes between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the level of imaging required. This includes full-body photography, close up images, consultation with a Dermatologist and treatment if needed.
A referral is not required for FotoFinder imaging. As this is an advanced diagnostic service, coverage is not included under OHIP. Our team can provide guidance on pricing and eligibility prior to your appointment.
what to expect
Consultation
FotoFinder begins with a consultation and imaging with a Nurse. You may do one specific spot or full-body imaging
Treatment
Your imaging will be performed by one of our experienced nurses using advanced full-body photography and dermoscopic imaging. This process is completely non-invasive and designed to document the skin in detail for future comparison. The session typically takes 30–60 minutes, depending on the level of imaging required
Post Treatment
Following your imaging, you will meet with one of our head Dermatologists to review your results. They will assess your images, address any areas of concern, and provide expert guidance on next steps if needed
Follow up
If no areas of concern are identified, we typically recommend follow-up imaging every 6 months to ensure consistent monitoring over time. If anything requires closer attention, your provider will advise on an appropriate follow-up plan

FotoFinder is most effective when incorporated into a long-term skin health plan. Regular imaging creates a detailed visual record of your skin, allowing for accurate comparisons and supporting early detection with confidence
